Open since May 2017, Confey Coffee serves a range of great quality coffees and teas.  Our homemade scones are baked in-house each morning, and we have gluten free snacks available also.  Catering for all in our local community, young and old, the coffee shop has colouring books, juices and snacks for young children, as well as a daily newspaper to read.

A coffee shop has been much needed in the Confey area, and the team at the Community Centre have been working on making this project a reality for some time.  A survey was conducted last year, with locals overwhelmingly supporting the idea of a Coffee Shop at the Centre, with most stating they wanted a place to meet up with friends and neighbours.  Work began in earnest in December 2016, when Intel came on board with funding to cover the start-up costs of the coffee machine, and all the necessary accessories.  In early 2017 the staff team at the Centre began transforming a section of youth room area into the warm welcoming coffee shop space you see today, painting, decorating and sourcing furniture and décor.

The Coffee shop is currently open 9.30am – 1pm Tuesday to Friday mornings, and in the future we hope to extend our opening hours.

Customers of the Coffee Shop can also avail of our office services – computer and printer use, photocopying and scanning services.
