Mindfulness and Meditation commencing Tuesday the 31st of May at 19:30pm.

Benefits of Mindfulness and Meditation:

A quiet mind

– Restful sleep

– Increased problem solving capabilities

– Better focus and increased concentration levels

– Improved relationships with family and friends

– Helps with addictions and common aliments

– Reduced stress

Mindfulness is rapidly becoming a global phenomenon, supported by increasingly rigorous scientific research, and driven in part by a longing for new practices that might help us to better apprehend and solve the challenges that threaten our health. The World Health Organisation has released research that has shown mental illness will be the greatest treat and challenge to our health in 2030

Alzheimer’s Tea Day

Our Alzheimer’s Tea Day was a huge success, raising an amazing €900 altogether!!!

We want to thank everyone who came along and supported our fundraiser.

Sincere thanks to Joyce Dunne and the ladies of Route 66 who worked so hard baking goodies, decorating the hall and looking after everything throughout morning. Huge credit to our own Maureen Donnelly who headed up the whole day and organaised all the raffle prizes.
